Location is superb, just off the busy Liberdade on a quiet, tree-lined street, but just minutes from all the shops, restaurants, and tourist hotspots. The hotel is really nice and clean, and quite modern. Great facilities including gym, indoor pool and a great rooftop jacuzzi. Decent size rooms, quiet, and great beds and pillows, and a very nice bathroom. You'll get a great nights' sleep here. Make sure you get the breakfast included too, it is superb.. although, at €22 each per day, it should be!!!

Location was great it was walking distance to city centre and many sightseeing locations. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was also nice, you could order your own omelettes and pancakes.

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived to the time we checked out. The staff were all exceptionally friendly. The breakfast buffet offered lots of choice and was high quality. We dined in the hotel restaurant on two nights and enjoyed our meals, one night with a Fado singer to entertain us. The hotel is in the heart of the best shopping district in Lisbon, just off the Avenida da Liberdade and about 30 minutes walk from the old quarter of the city, so a good location. There is a nice indoor swimming pool and spa too. We stayed 5 nights and would definitely recommend the Portobay

The bed was very comfortable and loved the decking area outside the room. The shower was great and there was a comfortable couch and desk. The breakfast had a good selection of food. The area around the hotel was very smart and the spa area was very nice.

Staff excellent, friendly and helpful. Hotel stunningly clean- bedroom and bathroom absolutely spotless but very comfortable and welcoming. Super comfy bed. Ate twice at the restaurant as we had busy days and the food there was excellent, chefs specials particularly great value, clearly priced, delicious and imaginative. To give context we very rarely eat in at hotels- we always get out exploring small local places but this was excellent. it was my husband's birthday whilst we were there and they gave him a lovely surprise- so many small touches which impressed us. We usually go for small independent hotels and my husband was slightly anxious when we arrived that this could be "businessy" but really just felt well run, welcoming, great location, great facilities, love to go back. Will def use this group of hotels again too. Thank you!

It was an excellent hotel. Room was very comfortable, the meal we had was lovely and the pool and surrounding environment was very relaxing. We were also grateful for early check in. Great location in pleasant area of city.

This is a beautiful hotel. I would class it more as a Boutique vibe despite its size, and there are certainly larger sprawling hotels on the Liberdade avenue. However PortoBay Liberdade is quiet and calm, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They are very polite and extremely helpful - we had some excellent advise about avoiding the monastery queue and going to the LX Factory (very cool!). I would definitely stay again and strongly recommend this hotel.

Great location, away from the hustle and bustle, but easily walkable to the main attractions. Close to the metro station. Staff go the extra mile to make your stay extra special. Luxurious bedroom, very comfortable and spacious. Fabulous selection at the buffet breakfast, with á La carte options available. They even had soy yogurt and milk, which I appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutley perfect hotel. The location was fab. I researched a few hotels in Lisbon and so glad I went with this one. We had a room with a little verander which was just so pretty. Hotel staff were lovely and friendly...even had some plasters for my husbands feet (after lots of walking around the beautiful city!) I would totally recommend this hotel. Loved the swimming pool and spa facilities also. Roof top decking was lovely....wish we had made more use of that. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay...the first one myself and my hsuband have had since having our 2 daughters.
